Bite Of Lunch + Tour And Tasty Tour

Tasty Tour

In previous years, we have been delighted to invite guests for our BLT (Bite of Lunch and Tour). Since March of 2020, we have not been able to host these fun events and had to adapt to new things as our 2021 theme, “All Things New” suggested.

Starting in 2022, we will be adapting our BLT to instead have a “Tasty Tour.” We still get to take you on a tour of our facilities to see all the things happening at Evangel Home and instead of lunch we will send you home with a tasty treat!

We will be limiting groups to 6 people and we still wear masks inside our facilities. Please email Jessica Lusk at volunteers@evangelhome.org to schedule your tour today!

Our “Bite of Lunch + Tour” is currently unavailable. Please see above, or contact us to learn other ways that you can connect with Evangel Home!

You won’t find our BLT listed on a menu under “sandwiches.” It is unique to Evangel Home and can only be ordered from our Volunteer Coordinator. Our BLT stands for “Bite of Lunch and a Tour,” and is geared towards providing churches, service clubs and other groups with a special program opportunity. We custom create our program to suit your needs and can accommodate up to 30 guests for lunch. Plan to arrive at 11:00 am. Your visit will start with a brief orientation about Evangel Home, followed by a staff-led tour where you will learn all about Evangel Home. After the tour, you will enjoy a delicious lunch while visiting with our staff and residents — something our women really enjoy.

After her group experienced a BLT, Mary Ellen from Northpark Women’s Group noted, “When people take the time to come and visit Evangel Home they give God an opportunity to inspire and encourage them to get involved. This program is continually changing and growing to meet the needs of women and children in our community.” During the tour, this group adopted one of our Crisis Home bedrooms. We invite you and your friends to make plans to enjoy an Evangel Home BLT. For more information or reservations, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at (559) 264-4714 at ext. 15.
